Location: Located on Lake Shore Drive, just past Adobe Drive
Hours: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
Opens : Memorial Day
Closes : Labor Day
After Memorial Day weekend, the beaches will be open only on weekends until the ALCA Official Summer Season begins (late June). Beaches will be open full-time in the summer season (seven days a week), weather permitting.
Beach 3 has several picnic benches in a shaded tree area, a concession food stand with Rest Room facilities across the road and a boat rack and docking area in the parking lot. This beach is across from the Island Pool Area. There are two fishing piers for easy access into boats.
No swimming is allowed during thunderstorms or when lifeguards are NOT on Duty.
