SWIMMING POOL AND BEACH RULES
The swimming pools and beaches will be open to all people with proper ALCA identification.
Swimming at the pools, while unsupervised by Association personnel, is not permitted.

Swimming at the beaches is at your own risk.

An adult or babysitter over the age of sixteen (16) will assume all liability and have full responsibility for children they are accompanying under the age of twelve (12).

The lifeguard shall have full authority regarding the safety and conduct of all persons within the pools areas and shall have, at his/her discretion, use of such disciplinary action as may be necessary to maintain proper conduct for the safety and enjoyment of all persons using these facilities.

Floatation devices may consist of “swimmies” that are worn on the upper arm (only provided a parent or legal guardian is with the child), a coast guard approved life vest, or an approved swimsuit with sewn in buoyancy aids. Aquatic equipment such as inflatable rings, rafts, noodles, skin diving equipment, etc. are prohibited from use at the pools and beach areas (defined as that area within the roped boundaries of the lake adjacent to the beach), unless through announcements of special activities or events sponsored by the Association. Please note that floatation devices under 36 inches are permitted within the roped off swimming area at the beaches.

No glass containers are allowed on the beaches or within the pool areas.

No running, pushing, loud or boisterous play will be permitted on the beaches or in and around the pool areas.

Lifeguards will not permit loud music, or sound by way of portable radios, cassette decks, CD players, etc. Enjoyment of the facilities is for everyone.

No dogs, cats or other animals referred to as household pets or domesticated animals will be permitted in the lakes, in the pool areas, on the beaches, or other places designated as recreational areas.

Only one person is permitted on the diving board at one time and no diving will be permitted when swimmers are within the diving pattern of the diving board.

Conversation or discussions with the lifeguard while he/she is on duty are discouraged.

The Association is not responsible for any personal articles left in the confines of the pool or beach areas or within the dressing rooms.

All beach umbrellas and beach or deck chairs must be behind the lifeguard’s stand so as not to obstruct the lifeguard’s view.

Smoking is banned inside the fences of the pools. Smoking is permitted on the grassy areas of the beaches.

Children that are still in diapers must use approved “swimmies” diapers.

No nudity or disrobing in public areas.

Wristbands must be worn to all events and facilities.
