Ahoy Sailors! Sailing is open to all men, women and children in Arrowhead Lake. All you need is a boat in the Sunfish/Phantom class and preferably the ability to swim. There are no dues or expenditures of any kind for sailing. All sailors are required to wear life preservers. The sailing season begins Saturday July 3 at 11 a.m. at beach 2 (weather permitting). we have two races on Saturdays and Sundays till early September. The sailors will hold a sailors dinner mid season (date and time to be announced). As the season draws to an end, the sailors have a closing picnic on Saturday September 4 immediately following the race (location to be announced). During the picnic the commodore announces the results of the racing season, including the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and awards will be presented. All sailors who raced during the season receive a memento provided by the association
